When does an apartment stop being just a home and start becoming a mirror of character and soul?
Designing a one-bedroom apartment for a young producer with an active lifestyle and love for travel meant creating more than just a home. It had to become a space with character — stylish, comfortable, and inspiring.
This 40sq.m apartment had to bring it all together:
-
a comfortable lounge area for unwinding after busy days
-
a modern zone for work and socializing
-
a hidden sleeping loft that adds both lightness and privacy
-
a cozy corner for the Doberman, seamlessly integrated with care and style
-
artworks and decorative accents that infuse the space with individuality and uniqueness
-
an atmosphere of ease and inspiration, reflecting the charisma of its owner
An ordinary one-bedroom apartment was meant to be transformed into a stylish space with character — a place of strength, where one wants to live, create, and welcome friends.

I began by reorganizing the space to make the apartment more spacious, functional, and stylish:
-
placed the bed on a second level, freeing up the first floor and adding lightness and dynamics to the interior
-
combined the kitchen and living room, turning them into the open heart of the apartment — a place for relaxation, conversation, and movie nights
-
redesigned the bathroom and hallway, adjusting their proportions to make them more convenient and harmoniously integrated into the overall style

The hallway — from the very first steps, it invites you into a world of comfort and sets the tone for the entire interior. The space greets you with harmony and light: a large round mirror visually expands the area, while the console adds a subtle touch of elegance.
Everything is designed in unity with the rest of the apartment — graphic lines and industrial accents create a cohesive image and reinforce the character of the whole space.

The living room — a space that invites people to come together, inspiring gatherings and movie nights. A spacious sofa, projector, and screen turn it into the true center of communication and relaxation.

There was also room for a full-sized desk, making it convenient to work on projects.
For the loyal pet, a cozy corner was designed, while spacious storage hidden beneath the second-level bed keeps the interior light and uncluttered.

The kitchen and living room are combined into one open space with a bar counter. It’s not a place for elaborate cooking, but for morning coffee, relaxed dinners after work, and conversations with friends.
The bar counter becomes a focal point of the interior, replacing the traditional dining table.

The balcony — a cozy spot with bar stools and gentle lighting, where one can enjoy sweeping views of the city, soak in the atmosphere of the metropolis, or simply indulge in a morning coffee ritual.

The sleeping area on the second level — a hidden, cozy, yet striking solution. A staircase leads to a private zone with a full-size bed.
This approach preserves the openness of the main room while adding a second dimension to the interior.

The bathroom — featuring black fixtures, a sleek sink, a tropical shower, and a convenient spot for washing the dog.

The décor — artworks play a vital role in the interior. They add style and individuality, making the space truly unique while reflecting the owner’s taste.
This interior is all about energy, style, and charisma.
It is infused with industrial aesthetics — but not as cold minimalism. Instead, it’s a space with character, where feeling at home comes naturally. Here, one can work on new projects, host movie nights with friends, or simply enjoy the quiet after returning from travels.
Every project I create is more than just renovation — it’s a reflection of its owner’s personality.
